Welcome! I’m Jim Garing. I decided to run for Prescott City Council to bring my vision and experience with sustainable growth, responsible water management, and a commitment to transparency in our city’s leadership. With over four decades of engineering experience, years of public service, and a deep-rooted dedication to the Prescott community, I am ready to work for the future we deserve.
Since returning home to Arizona, I have worked tirelessly to ensure the City of Prescott upholds its commitments to development agreements and master plans, and to advocate for policies which protect our community’s interests. Now, I’m stepping up to make an even greater impact -- to ensure balanced growth, sustainable water policies, and government accountability.
